It is morning here and I just finished my everyday morning kettlebell swing training. For this month I chose to exercise every morning for 5 minutes- I know it is not much, but I am building new habit and as I wasn´t swinging my kettlebel regularly in last 2 months I found out that after 15 or 20 minute training I need at least one day off. Hopefully in February I will be able to increase the lenght of workout, but now I am happy that I did seven 5 minute workouts this week.
I am exercising with Tracy Reifkind. I love her videos. She started about one year ago post on her blog those 5 minute workouts – she calls them 10×10, because it is based on 10 sets of 10 swings. 30 second intervals. You swing for 15 seconds and rest for 15 seconds too. Even it is equal rest equal work ratio, I am prety winded up after. But I am noticing improvements each day.
Today I did this one of this workouts from her blog:http://tracysfoodandthought.blogspot.cz/2013/11/dont-be-late-to-my-party.html
I am using my 16 kg KB and doing all 2 hand swings.
I exercise early in the morning. After I am done nursing my twins (they usualy get up for nursing between 5-6 in the morning) I don´t go back to sleep as I used to do, but I get up and exercise. Kids used to get up at 7 before, but as I changed my routine, they started to get up earlier. But I managed. If they are already up, I take my kettlebell to their room and exercise with them watching me in their cribs. It is kind of fun 🙂 Maybe they will join me in few months and we will exercise together 🙂
Whole 30 update:
So far it is going good. I noticed that my clothes are more loose. But I am still figuring out what time will be best for my dinner. With kids we have lunch regularly at 12, than they eat approximately around five, but is to soon for my dinner because as I found out, I am hungry later in the evening. So I had dinner at 7 yesterday and some snack in the afternoon – kiwi and banana and some nuts. And it was better.
